HOW TO HAVE HOPE

The way we look at life,

Our worldview,

Effects all our decisions,

We need hope!

We can have hope

Because of the nature of God

Because of Jesus,

Because God is real.

We can have hope because of God's Nature

In Luke 15 in the story of the prodigal son

We read that God is a LOVING FATHER.

God loves us, he knows each one of us by name.

I can have hope because God is interested in me.

God cares for me even though I am just one small person

in this vast sea of humanity. He is willing to be my Father, too.

We can have hope because of Jesus

Jesus became what we are that we might have hope.

Jesus gave us hope by his becoming flesh and dying for us.

Now he lives to intercede for us before God.

The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy,

Jesus came to give us abundant life. John 10:10

Shakespear's Macbeth said

"Life's but a tale told by a fool signifying nothing."

But through God we can be significant,

God allows us to ask great things of Him.

Accept the responsibility of what He gives you.

Ask yourself the question: What am I doing with my talent?

What am I doing with my opportunities?

God loves us in spite of our sins,

even when we are wrong.

God cannot tolerate evil,

So He gave us the capacity to REPENT.

When you repent God will run to meet you.

He doesn't deal with us as we deserve,

but through His great compassion and love. Luke 15:20

We can have hope because God is real.

Preaching is a blinding light that He uses,

so you can see yourself as you really are in God's eyes.
