The Little Town of Dale

On the map of Oklahoma, there's a little town called Dale.
One can hardly even see it, but its inhabitants are just swell.
Made up of senior citizens and children running to and fro.
Its young adults are so busy, they never stop to smell a rose.

It has a great school for education with a lovely marching band.
Mail boxes to mail your letters and three churches to attend.
Most folks earn their living by working at Tinker Field.
Have perfect health until Thursday evening and then its terrible
how they feel.
Better stay home on Friday to gain their strength and cure their aches.
And the best place to do that is in a boat out on their favorite lake!

Each one tends to his own business and sometimes his brother's too.
But if one's burdens get too heavy, they are all there to help see him through.
If one comes here seeking trouble, then trouble he will find.
And if he is thinking of robbing his neighbor, he had better change his mind.

We have a peaceful little village and we are proud to live in Dale,
So, if you are visiting or just passing, come on by and sit a spell.
